Our Proven Process
Our providers have a significant depth of expertise and a fierce commitment to improving the oral health of our patients.
We follow a tried and trusted road map for scheduling, evaluating, diagnosing and treating every patient.
You can schedule an appointment by calling our office or by utilizing our online scheduler. Once we’ve gathered your personal information, our goal is to get every patient an appointment within a week.
If you need to schedule for your whole family, our friendly staff can assist in making back-to-back appointments, scheduled on the same day so you can avoid multiple trips to the dentist.
Our goal is simple – we put patients at the center of everything we do. To prove this, our dental offices have developed and adopted a best-in-class quality assurance and quality control program to hold ourselves accountable to delivering the very best for our patients.
We closely monitor and measure our own performance to be sure we are meeting the quality standards we have set for ourselves.
We take time to learn about you so we can personalize your care and develop an individualized treatment plan. Whether you’re a new patient or a long-time member of the Today’s Dental family, we’ll take the time in every appointment to gather a comprehensive health history and review your current health concerns, medications, and any past medical or dental procedures.
For optimal dental health, we recommend two routine dental visits per year- usually every six months. Once a year, we’ll take a full set of x-rays to help us check for any issues below the surface and monitor your development.
At each routine visit, here is what you can expect:
If you need any preventative, restorative, or cosmetic care, we’ll take the time to make sure you understand your treatment options, risks, and benefits. We’ll be transparent with costs for treatment and work with you to develop a plan for costs not covered by your insurance.
We’ve been helping Omaha smile for over 40 years. And we’ll continue to make lives better well into the future with this special brand of high-quality, compassionate dental care we call the Today’s Dental Way.
All our instruments, equipment, and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned between every patient and single-use items are thrown away. Today’s Dental utilizes modern sterilization techniques including steam under pressure (Autoclave), high heat, hospital-grade sterilizers, and disinfectant chemicals to properly and effectively clean all equipment to protect patient and provider safety.
A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) must earn an undergraduate degree and then attend four years of dental school at an accredited institution for dental education. After completing the education and hand-on clinical training requirements, every dentist must pass written exams at the national and state levels in order to receive a license to practice general dentistry. Dentists must also meet continuing education requirements in order to keep their license in good standing.
