Out Patient Sedation
It is very common in our dental world to hear from patients who have fear of treatment. Dr. Newington offers a few very unique types of sedation. They range from nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to IV medications to make you as sleepy as possible while still keeping you safe. Many patients, as stated before, have a fear of treatment but some patients use IV Sedation in order to get 2 or 3 visits worth of treatment done in a single visit. The medication given during these sessions varies depending on the patient's need and health. Patients have sedation for all services from check-ups to surgery.
